    IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

In order to participate, once you complete your registration below, you must also register and submit a waiver directly with United Against Poverty. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the additional registration link. Due to limited capacity, if you need to cancel your registration for any reason, please reach out to Grace Dance at edance@rollins.edu.

Transportation will not be provided. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the volunteer site.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate. Volunteers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the volunteer experience.

Volunteers will assist with a variety of hands-on projects throughout the Member Share Grocery Program, including:

    • Produce: stocking the produce coolers and creating displays for the fresh produce
    • Coolers and Freezers: cleaning, organizing, and stocking display freezers
    • Stocking shelves: cleaning, organizing, and making sure aisles are full and appealing to members
    • Warehouse: sort product coming in from the Distribution Center, assist with pricing, and break down boxes
    • Bulk: organizing and prizing wholesale items through the Grocery Program
    • Member Marketplace: assist with pricing merchandise, stocking shelves, organizing and cleaning shelves, sanitation needs in the marketplace, etc.
We encourage volunteers to eat lunch before arriving and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the service project.

We hope you’ll join us as we work together to support our neighbors and strengthen our community this holiday season.
